Medical Director, Rancho Los Amigos Epilepsy Center
Associate Chief Medical Officer, Rancho Los Amigos
“The Epilepsy Center at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center was established in 2007 with the mission of providing comprehensive, advanced epilepsy treatment to all patients in Los Angeles County, regardless of their financial or insurance status. In 2016, Rancho achieved Level 4 National Association of Epilepsy Center (NAEC) accreditation, which indicates the most advanced level of epilepsy care. As the first public hospital in the nation to do so, Rancho has demonstrated that high-level care and excellent outcomes are attainable in spite of the limited resources of a safety-net hospital. This has been possible through expertise-sharing, resource maximization and strategic partnerships via the USC Epilepsy Care Consortium.”
