“The surgical management of epilepsy is a top priority for the neurosciences at CHLA. Over the past years, the administrative and medical leadership at CHLA has engaged in a concerted effort to recruit top-level specialists and invest in the creation of extensive infrastructure to rejuvenate the CHLA Epilepsy Center. CHLA has always embraced its role as the top resource in pediatric diseases regionally, and the same is true for epilepsy. As part of the USC Epilepsy Consortium, CHLA is committed to serving all children with epilepsy across the socioeconomic and age spectrum. Furthermore, the other Consortium centers serve an important role in ensuring continuity of care as CHLA patients “graduate” into adulthood”
