Dr. Mark Krieger received his undergraduate education at Harvard University before attending medical school at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then received his neurosurgery training at the USC-Affiliated Hospitals and his pediatric neurosurgery fellowship with Dr. Gordon McComb at Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. After a brief tenure at Mt. Sinai, he rejoined the pediatric neurosurgery program at CHLA and became the Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is currently serving as Interim-Surgeon-in-Chief at CHLA. Dr. Krieger has been instrumental in the resurgence of the CHLA Epilepsy Center, leading the recruitment of key experts. He has also been instrumental in coordinating the integration of the pediatric and adult epilepsy programs at USC.
