Dr. Deborah Holder received her medical education at the Medical College of Ohio, before receiving her residency training in child neurology and pediatrics at the Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine. She then received her epilepsy fellowship training at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She has been instrumental in the establishment of several pediatric epilepsy programs, including the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. She has led the resurgence of the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles Epilepsy Center to serve as a resource for the region. She is passionate about the management of epilepsy in children and is a strong advocate for definitive surgical approaches including resection, minimally invasive laser, and devices.
