Dr. Christi Heck completed her undergraduate education at UCLA and attending graduate school there. She then received her MD from the USC Keck School of Medicine, where she also completed her neurology residency and epilepsy fellowship training. She became the Director of the USC Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, and she has championed the care of patients at LAC-USC Medical Center from the inception. She has led multiple high-visibility device-related clinical trials at USC and has established herself as a leader in this space. She has also been a strong advocate of “equal care” for all patients across the socioeconomic spectrum at the national level.
