The principal mission of the USC Epilepsy Consortium is to understand the system-level issues that limit access to critically needed epilepsy serves across our region and develop patient-centered solutions to integrate care in spite of these barriers. Practically, it gives epilepsy patients from the southern half of California access to the combined resources and expertise of a dedicated group of epilepsy experts. In practice, prospective data is acquired to inform policy makers and hospital administrators alike, while thousands of patients receive access to outstanding care that would not be possible otherwise.”
